Carmen works the 7 Devils beer booth at the Gorse Festival- to cele(hate) gorse, the fires it's caused and the history of the region. However, the real purpose of this festival is to celebrate seafood, beer, and wine from all over Oregon and bring visitors to Bandon in the dark, wet, cold days of February. As usual, there was much fun (and beer) to be had by all.
The Dark Arts Festival is a magical menagerie of dark art and macabre entertainment, all the while surrounded by the boldest collection of stouts ever assembled in one place. We were amazed by iron, glass, ice, and chainsaw craftspeople. Live music, dark art, and roaming artists combined with 60 rare and unique stouts made the day amazing. 7 Devil's was pouring this year's Symbiosis Fig Stout and even a few Coos Bay locals made the trip for this epic event.
If you are passing through Bandon- don't forget to stop at the Beverage Barn and get your growler filled. There are 5 different 7 Devils brews on tap, including the Groundswell IPA (not pictured). For more information- check them out on Facebook
